Closing ceremony of Singapore national games 2012!

SNG 2012 came to a close yesterday Sunday, 9 September 2012 at Bishan Stadium
It reminded me of why I love Singapore! - the mix of culture from different races ; different ages ; our community spirit and most of all our love for Singapore. Finale of SNG 2012! Marks the end of Singapore national games 2012. I believe it was a memorable time for many.

I want to join it next year for swimming and netball and running. Its just such an exciting time standing alongside our national athletes knowing them as a person. As a friend. encourages you on specially if you have hopes of becoming an athlete.

We were re-debrief about the cheers and its formation. And for us who were participating in the finale games Human Pinball and Dragonboating - we were re- debrief about the process.

And it all began! Oh! So amazing to be there in participation , in unity.

 

 

 Then after the cheers, we were suppose to be in place to prepare for our human pinball.

 

 

 

Then there were the dancers. Much hard work!

Suddenly, dark clouds came in and I was thinking it would dampen everyone's spirit. But... no... when it was decided the rain might not stop, everyone begin wearing on the poncho given and marched out the to fields for the finale. It was such a grand sight!
