Wonder Girls Concert in Singapore

Once again got to give a shout out to my fellow blogging friend , YT for the tickets to Wonder Girls concert in Singapore! Its my first time to a Korean Idol concert! And to make it more special, Singapore was the first stop of the Wonder GirlsWonder World Asia Tour

On September 8, the two-hour party kicked off by special guests and label-mates JJ Project , consisting of Jr. and JB. (If you don't know them, they were in Dream High 2 - JB has a boyish charm!). Their Energy level was infectious. ( I believe if we could, we would have start standing on the chairs and dance along). Also their effort to interact with the audience in their basic English were sincere - greeted us said they loved it here and more....

The Wonder Girls officially took the stage almost immediately which put everyone in a really good mood. They had disco tracks, dance tracks (Hit songs including ‘Like This‘, ‘Be My Baby‘, ‘Tell Me‘, and ‘Nobody‘and remixes of ‘This Fool‘, ‘2 Different Tears‘, and ‘So Hot. ) and my favorite Ballads. Snippets of various ballads live such as ‘Wishing Upon A Star’ and ‘Long Long Time'. Always love their ballads!

They also presenting their likings on their solo stages.
Yenny first stepped up and impressed with her self-composed track ‘Hello To Myself’, which was first introduced on the recent Dream High 2.
Yu Bin also showed off a different side to their originally girly 2008 hit ‘So Hot’, shaking up the song to be more sexy than sweet during her solo stage.
Leader Sun was  impressing the audience with her  rendition of ‘Sound Of Rain’ on the piano, before sleekly transiting into a flawless performance of Miss A‘s ‘Touch’.
Lim transformed into an edgy, hip-hop lass and did a rock with JJ Project with ‘Act Cool’.
Sohee did not do a solo stage.

As part of a ‘surprise’, the girls appeared  singing ‘REAL’ wearing the iconic Singapore Airlines (SIA) costume! (Felt that it was quite weird though) specially since in the MV, That song was suppose to be a cool sexy cute feel. Well, but I understand it was their way of saying Hello Singapore :)

The girls concluded the night by performing an encore presentation of their hit single, “Nobody,” where the audience got affirmation of just why and how this small sensation from little bitty South Korea could possibly be the next big thing in American culture. Though we can’t be certain if the group will make it in these great Western waters or if they’ll even come remotely close to succeeding, we can say this with confidence: these girls sure are wonder girls, indeed.

Though we were not allowed to take pictures. Hiding behind the rest of the audience we managed to sneak some shots. The effects were amazing!
Here it goes :)
